The temperature averaged 74.6°F for June, which is 4.5°F above normal, and tied with 1981, 1984, 2008, and 2021 as the 6th warmest such month on record (since 1977).  The month was also the 2nd consecutive month with above-normal temperatures.  There were 12 days with that averaged below-normal or near-normal.  There were 10 days with maximums of 90°F or higher (Normal is 5) and 2 days with maximums of 100°F or higher.  Temperature extremes included 102°F on the 24th, which was a record for the day, and 50°F on the 1st.          

Precipitation totaled 3.00 inches (76 percent) and was 1.02 inches below normal.  The month ranked as the 21st driest such month on record and the driest since 2024. The month was also the 6th consecutive month with below-normal precipitation.  There were 14 days with measurable precipitation. The most received in a 24-hour period was 1.05 inches on the 9-10th.  There were only 3 clear days and 11 overcast days
